Near-Earth Objects (NEOs) are comets and asteroids that have been nudged by the gravitational attraction of nearby planets into orbits that allow them to enter the Earth's neighborhood. There are a little under 10,000 near earth objects identified and classified by different levels of risk. It's believed 90% of all near earth objects have been accounted for, with the other 10% still not found.
